Yoga for beginners – for the ones curious about yoga, and who wants to gain more body and mind awareness.
In this beginner's yoga class I will introduce and experiment with different kinds of yoga. I will both introduce flow yoga inspired by vinyasa yoga with a lot of flow and movements and the slower yin yoga with longer stretches in the poses.
Other focus points will be seated meditation and breathwork.
I will start with the basics and slowly build up over the season and introduce different postures and improvement of technique (among different kinds of handstands practises) or partnerwork in a playful setting.
This is a class that everyone can participate in, as yoga should not take itself too seriously.
You will be taugth by Dagmar, a fellow KU student, who has just finished a 100 hours yoga teacher training at Rört in Copenhagen.
